Friday 11th May 2012: It’s these ladies’ joint 30th birthday party! There was even a secret password to gain access to the festivities (which resulted in an awkward moment between me and the door staff as I forgot to say it). It was a fantastic evening even though I was still suffering from jet lag.
Thursday 10th May 2012: I’m trying to start making good lunches for work (with help from my mum). Here I’ve made garlic chicken and steamed cabbage for dinner but it will also become tomorrow’s lunch as well. It’s pretty good.
Wednesday 9th May 2012: This is my foot! And that is a massive blister on my fourth toe from my new Nike trainers I got yesterday.
In case you wanted to know, I popped the blister after I took this photo.
Tuesday 8th May 2012: Back in the UK and back at work straight away. Luckily my holiday blues was made better with a new Levi’s jacket and Nike trainers.
Monday 7th May 2012: Ugh… another 12 hour plane journey. Fuck this.
Sunday 6th May 2012: It’s the last day of my Hong Kong holiday – NO!
But it was spent taking Theo to look at turtles in the local park – YES!
It also made me want a pet turtle!
Saturday 5th May 2012: I asked my parents to pose for a photo and they picked up the baby. Sometimes I think the baby has become a prop.
Friday 4th May 2012: This is my second ever guitar but the one that I tend to consider as my first – A 1998 Fender Nashville Telecaster.
As I acquired more and better guitars, this became my DIY experiment (which I slightly regret). I’ve even sold it on eBay only to track down the buyer four months later to buy it back (for less than he paid me!).
The guitar has been kept at my parent’s but I’m now about to get it professionally repaired and refinished.

Wednesday 2nd May 2012: Today I went to help with the grocery shopping but it turned out to be quite a painful trip due to the weather. This photo is my mum hiding from the blazing sun and possibly my camera.
Tuesday 1st May 2012: It’s bank holiday in Hong Kong and I’ve ended up spending the afternoon with my sister and brother in law taking Theo to the local playgrounds.
